Examinations
Dear Students,
We have observed many instances of students of NMIMS adopting unfair means during the University
examinations. We would like to emphasize the gravity of this matter and the severe implications it can
have on your academic journey and future endeavours.
The use of unfair means, such as cheating, plagiarism, or any form of academic dishonesty during
examinations, is a direct violation of the principles of academic integrity. We want to remind all
students that maintaining academic integrity is not only a fundamental value of our Institution but
also a crucial aspect of personal and professional development.
We earnestly advise all students to refrain from using unfair means during University examinations.
Instead, focus on developing effective study habits, time management skills, and seek support from
faculty members or counselling services if you are feeling overwhelmed due to various pressures.
Handling stress and pressure is an essential skill in both academic and professional life. We encourage
you to utilize available resources, such as counselling services, and peer support networks, to cope
with the challenges you may encounter during your academic journey.
Let us collectively uphold the values of academic integrity and ensure a fair, respectful, and enriching
learning environment for all.
