2. Beginning

Dear First Time User,

Your Autoclave/Sterilizer using high temperature and pressure steam.
If you are not trained for Autoclave usage or not familiar with Autoclave, please do not operate before you are
trained or completely read this manual and understand about your Autoclave for your health and safety and to
prevent personal injury.
If you do not understand, please contact your laboratory supervisor or technician for further training cycle or
advise.

Autoclaves are such a familiar feature in many laboratories that it is easy to forget what hazards they can pose. The
autoclave’s job is to render its contents sterile, or free of any living organisms. If it fails to do so, serious health hazards
can result. The hot, pressurized steam (135℃, 2.65 kg/㎠ in gauge) that autoclaves generate to do this job makes them
serious burn hazards as well. And, because conditions created inside steam autoclaves are so extreme, autoclaves can
easily malfunction if they are not carefully.
Before using DAIHAN LabTech LAC-Series autoclave at first, read and understand the operating manual thoroughly.
If you have not kept the manual, contact a local distributor or us directly to have a copy.

DAIHAN LABTECH CO., LTD. IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE OF PROPERTY OR
PERSONAL INJURY FOR ABUSE OR USAGE FOR WRONG PURPOSE OF AUTOCLAVE.

- (Thermostat)

- (Electronic Limiter)

- (LCD display & Warning buzzer)

- (Door Lock system)

¾ All automatic CONTROL

All automatic control method by Dual 8Bit Processor, there is no mechanical set point, as there are self-check and
self-control, we increased the durability.

If you press start button after closing the door, Preheating > pre- vacuum > heating > sterilization > ventilation >
dry > completion , full automatic process.

-6-
¾ Self-check
There is self-check and self-control function, if equipments damage or parts defects is happened, with alarm sound,
the machine indicate the error no.(refer to 21, 22 Page)

¾ Safety equipment
If pressure insider the chamber is found, then door is not opened.
- when the pressure over 0.03Mpa (0.3Bar)
If the pressure inside the chamber increases then, safety valve will be opened automatically
- When the steam pressure over 2.5bar
Because of maintaining a constant pressure sterilisation, sterilization system is of excellent quality.
- While sterilizing cycle is in progress, steam pressure deviation over ±0.3BAR, then error will be shown.
Prevent from over current by ELCB(Earth leakage circuit breaker)
Self-diagnostic feature tells users the status of a sterilizer.
- Sterilization of the power-on self-diagnosis system has been working from the moment a problem occurs with
the LCD screen displays an error alarm will sound.
During mechanical error or power failure, automatically, pressure will be exhausted from the product.
