Hash Clubs with home pages of their own are linked and all email addresses of hash contacts are hotlinked. The "Date Last Updated" part of the
record is an indication of the validity of the information. Where no date is given the information has been only verified indirectly and does not guarantee
a functioning hash. This information should be used with some degree of caution. All costs shown are shown in Australian Dollars. Telephones
numbers shown in brackets represent area code when dialing from within Australia but outside the telephone district. If dialing from outside Australia
the "0" from the area code is deleted and the prefix for Australia is applied. For example, Canberra area code is (02) for dialing from outside Canberra
District. To dial Canberra from outside Australia the prefix is "+61 2". Mobile telephone numbers begin "01" and "04" and do not require an area code.
Navy Hash Clubs

The hashes listed as Navy Hashes are ones that may possibly exist on Australian Warships. The hashes are all travelling hashes and usually only run
when docked in exotic locations. They may even turn up in your neighbourhood. Be warned! The Hashers on ships are unlikely to stay on one ship for
more that two years, therefore it is extremely difficult to maintain an up to date contact list. The approach taken has been to use the Sports Officer of
the various ships as a contact point as they will generally be aware of "Sporting Groups" on board. Some of the Hashes previously listed have been on
ships that have been decommissioned in recent times. These associated hashes no longer exist if they ever really did. The exception being HMAS
Yarra which established itself as the Fleet One Hash and who founded a tradition of hosting a Pre City to Surf Run in Sydney each August and
publicised through the Aussie Hash Home Page.
Travelling Hashes
Travelling Hashes are usually Hashers who are travelling around Australia.This means their runs are anywhere at any time and do not keep to any
schedule.Usually if you email them they will notify you when and where runs will be set.
