EXCERPT FROM THE MINUTES OF MEETING

November 23, 2023; 7:00PM – 9:00PM

Venue or Platform: Google Meet

All are present with Atty. Jose Manuel Jamora, Supervising Lawyer.

The meeting was called.

The concerns are as follows:

I. OFW Legal Outreach Program
a. Conducted the meeting with Congresswoman Magsino last November 22,
2023 at the House of Representatives
i. The Staff of Congw. Magsino will provide the set of clients that will
be handled by each Law Student Practitioner based on the
available time of both parties.
ii. They will be giving the information sheet that will provide the basic
information needed by the Law Student Practitioners.
iii. Law Student Practitioner will provide their respective Available
Time for client matching.

II. Barangay Legal Outreach

All assignments were reminded.
a. Seminar for the Lupon will start at exactly 9:00AM.
Resource Speaker – Atty. Irene Grace Villadolid.
Duration: 45mins – 1 hour; No Open Forum

After the seminar, the assigned group will assist in the Legal Guidance to
clients.

b. Legal Guidance to the clients

• Suggestions from Atty. Jamora.
o Used the mobile phone for easy accessibility for the Codal
Provisions
o Salient information will be gathered during the interview.

• Cut-off time is 12:00PM. Either around, 11:00AM or based on the

number of clients that may be accommodated, Ms. Torreverde will
inform Kap. Cardano that the activity will end at 12:00PM.
• No quota for each Law Student Practitioner
• In case there would be numerous number of clients, the information
sheet will be collected, and the group may try to reached the
client/s to be assisted.

c. Closing
1. Awarding of Certificate and Token of Appreciation to the Barangay.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:00PM.
