    I was receiving an error message regarding no samples being assigned but found the issue was related to missing settings. The settings needed were to select manual valuation for the sampling procedure, ensure an inspection lot was generated after goods receipt against the purchase order due to the inspection type activated in the material master, and to assign a proper sample type to the inspection type configured in the material master.

    I was facing this issue "Message No.

    QY025 - No samples are assigned", but I found


    out the setting that I was missing. Below are the details,

    1. In Sampling procedure make sure that you maintain sample management radio
    button and valuation mode as "Manual valuation",

    then in the next step you will see as shown below in sapling procedure
    2. Once the purchase order is created & GR is done against the PO due to
    inspection type 01 activated in material master QM view, new inspection lot will be
    generated automatically and all details as shown below
    Samples are calculated without any error
    3. Also make sure that in the configuration of inspection type 01 which was assigned
    to material master QM view to execute this scenario, a proper sample type is
    assigned.

    SPRO → SAP IMG → Quality Management → Quality Inspection → Inspection Lot


    Creation → Maintain Inspection Types
