RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
This chapter shows the methods used in the study. It describes the respondents of the
study, the design, and instrument used, the procedure of data gathering and the statistical
treatment of the data. This study determines the effects of Co-Curricular and Extra-Curricular,
Research Design
Descriptive design will be selected for the analysis of this study. The researchers used
this type of design to describe the variables by statistically analyzing data from the
questionnaires, scores, and databases, and to describe the features of the sample.
The respondents will be selected having one category in mind: the students of Columban
activities. The respondents will be chosen by using a purposive sampling or selecting participants
based on specific criteria or characteristics that are relevant to the research question. In this
sampling technique, the researcher selects participants who have the knowledge or experience
relevant to the research question, which can enhance the quality of the data collected
