DESCRIPTION
The Portable Logging System (PLS) is easy to transport, while still providing complete logging capability from
Ultrawire™ tools.

The PLS, which is dedicated for use with high speed Ultrawire™ tools, performs the same functions as the
standard truck mountable MIDAS system (see standard unit leaflet for full functionality). Connections to a Depth
Encoder, Tension Sensor and for a remote display are all protected via integral IS barriers.

The unit is mounted in a single rugged shipping container. The front of this opens to provide access to the simple
controls (On/Off, Line Voltage, Voltage Polarity & Line Equalization) as well as to the thermal plotter. At the rear
are the power (mains in, mains out), line and USB hub for computer connection as well as provision for inputs of
line speed, tension etc.
