¿ Are we in a Cristian faith crisis in Europe ?

1. Introduction.

For start I going to define the approach of my report , nowadays in Europe the religion is a fundamental pilar in
the value system which the institutions and beliefs of all countries are based on. The massive immigration , the
complex internal conflicts inside the EU and the COVID crisis are only some causes of the
political/social/economic context in the societies of the zone and day per day the influence of the globalisation is
higher so is normal that the perception of the population could change.

With this report I want to show the actual situation of the cristianism in Europe and how could this be developed
in the future.

2. Theories approach.

The answer to this question is not straightforward and depends on how you define "decline” because the influence
will be maintain and will continue being the centre of the debate . Here are some points to consider:

Actually in the entire world, Christianity is still the largest religion, with over 2 billion adherents, according to the
Pew Research Center, in the future would be overcame by the Islam but right now is still the most important in the
world.

For some studies, Christianity is declining in Europe, where secularization and declining church attendance have
been major trends in recent decades. In the United States, Christianity is also declining as a share of the population,
but more sluggishly than in Europe.
Some Christian appellations are growing while others are declining.

It's also worth noting that some scholars and judges argue that the decline of Christianity in the West isn't
inescapably a decline in church or faith, but rather a shift down from traditional religious institutions and towards
further personalized forms of church. Overall, while Christianity is still a major global religion, it's passing some
declines in certain regions and appellations. In addition to the points I mentioned before, then are some further
factors that may be contributing to the decline of Christianity in some regions. The nature of the factors depend on a
variety of events which has been developed along the las period of time and occasionally are more told about the
external influences of Europe than the public environment.

For continue is important to analyse the principal factors.

• Secularization: in numerous Western countries, there has been a trend towards secularization, where people are
getting less religious and more likely to identify as polytheist, agnostic, or" spiritual but not religious." This trend
has been particularly strong among youngish generations. For instance we can find different situations in countries
as Poland and on the other side Belgium.

• Changing stations towards social issues : some Christian appellations hold conservative views on social issues like
LGBTQ rights, revocation, and gender equivalency, which may be driving people down from those churches. On
the other hand, some further liberal appellations are seeing growth as they embrace more progressive views on these
issues.

• Dishonors and difficulties : there are a lot of cases which have as responsible some preachers who generally were
removed by the reality, similar as the Catholic Church's coitus abuse extremity and the rise of so- called" substance
philosophy" priests. The moral debate of identify as a cristian latterly of this for the society might be difficulty and
pose the question of continue

• Competition from other persuasions : in some regions, Christianity is facing competition from other
persuasions, similar as Islam or Buddhism, which may be more charming to certain populations.

• Demographic shifts : in some countries, demographic changes are contributing to the decline of Christianity. For
illustration, in Europe, low birth rates and growing populations mean that there are smaller youthful people entering
the church, while immigration is bringing further people of other faiths into the region. It's worth noting that these
factors are complex and interrelated, and the decline of Christianity in some regions is likely the result of a
combination of factors. still, it's also important to flash back that Christianity remains a vibrant and important
religion for millions of people around the world.

• Technology : has made it easier for people to pierce information about different persuasions and worldviews,
which may be contributing to a further different religious geography. It has also made it easier for people to connect
with others who partake their beliefs, anyhow of geographical position. At the same
time, technology has also made it easier for people to pierce information that challenges traditional religious
beliefs and training.

• Individualism : numerous societies are getting more individualistic, which means that people are less likely to
cleave to traditional social morals and institutions, including systematized religion. This may be particularly true
among youngish generations, who are more likely to value particular autonomy and tone- expression over
adherence to tradition. The European society is losing the belief of community and some countries are trying to
focus more in themselfs, for instance Poland or Hungary are having conflicts with the law of the EU and in the
future we are going to face more debates about the main ideas which follow.

• Education: advanced situations of education have been associated with lower situations of religiosity, and as further
people around the world gain access to education, it's possible that this trend may contribute to the decline of
Christianity and other persuasions. The influence of the cristianism is losing power in countries as Spain, the
educational system is more focus now in other subjects.

• Globalization : while the world continues further connected, people are decreasingly exposed to different societies
and differents forms of understand the live, which may lead to a decline in adherence to traditional religious
practices and beliefs because now there's a variety of option more wide. This is common in big metropolises, which
generally tend to be more multicultural.
On the other hand with the globalisation there are more methods for charge the values the cristianismo using the
social media which the use is each day more more interconected

• Environmental enterprises : other strong review about the church by some Cristian’s about not being involve or
not doing enough to address environmental issues, which they see as central to their faith( the nature and all of
forms of life are produce by god). This review might be contributing to reduce in church support and maintain the
pitfalls of stop the affliction. Eventually, I've to clarify again that all of this factors are complex and are constantly
interacting in numerous different ways.

3. The poll/test.

I have choose the test instead of other method of investigation because I find a more confortable form of answer by
the population , I can use the social media for share it online and recollect the data is easier.

For continue for the poll, the cristianism is going to be study as catholic , protestant and orthodox as the principal
ones. The distinction is very important because the Cristianism in europe is understand in some many different
ways.

The poll will be dedicated to the young population (until 35 years old) because they are going to be the
principals promoter or detractors and will consist in two separate parts :

1. Topic questions, firstly the test starts with the theory questions and are about their actual faith situation
refer to the level of affiliation to the cristianism.

in a education or professional level.

- Mayor studies.

The data from this texts will be analyse in groups of level of educational or profesional for see the results easily, I
will take care about add a variety of graphics for show the information and establish relations with the topics for
find the answer to our question.

I have tried to make a easy and fast test to answer it for recollect the maximum number of opinions. And a long test
could give higher rate of failure.

This poll will show if the staditics are true and study the causes of the crisis, because I’m focus in the opinion of
the youth people and show the variety along the types of cristianism. If they are not cristians I will recollect the
information too and compare the data from other years.

4. Conclusion

This issue had been so studied by a variety of entities and the results tend to be in the same way, there is crisis of
faith and will continue every day.

In conclusion church has a problem and they have to try to find solutions because the social, economical and
political support could be reduced, furthermore the culture of Europe probably would develop problems in the future
because the historical heritage has to be maintain and preserve.
