about the Course. The course's extreme focus on self, on ME - isn't this contrary to becoming

Profound and utterly confusing. I have been reading books in the theological field for 30 years, and
this one stands miles above the rest. This course can therefore be summed up very simply in this
way: Nothing real can be threatened. These essays comment on personal guidance given by the
source of the material to the scribes (Helen Schucman and William Thetford). I would also suggest
the excellent books by Gary Renard, which introduce the Course in a very digestible way. And the
greatest error, says the Vedanta is to say that you are weak, that you are a sinner, a miserable
creature, and that you have no power and you cannot do this and that. The result is A Course in
Miracles, a book that has spawned hundreds of study groups and an international following. I know
the book is older, but it was still so troublesome for me. ACIM presents a purely non-dualistic
philosophy of forgiveness and includes practical lessons and applications for the practice of
forgiveness in one's daily life. Condition: new. New. Fast Shipping and good customer service. The
wording of the text is almost biblical in tone, but such is the strength of its message it cannot fail to
inspire those who open its pages. The curriculum the Course proposes is carefully conceived and is

Christianity is experienced in some parts of America this book may contribute to a more open and

we are here.
But I must say, I could hardly allow MYSELF to uncling from such a rock among the sands. The
Course is also about miracles, which students understand to be, in part, a shift in perception to healed
vision. There are also handy links to the A Course In Miracles website, information about the
Foundation for Inner Peace, and a link to our own website. A Course in Miracles (ACIM or The
Course) has been my companion for the last 12 years, and will continue to guide and comfort me for
the rest of my life. It turns out that Truth is a lot different than we think it is. I truly believe these
words come from our Guardian and have way more guidance in these words than anything. And it

concepts on which the Course's thought system is based. So the framework is rather elusive and
hidden, creating the anchor for the ideas in some uncreated depth. One of the worst things that
couldn't happen was making this book's copyright public domain. Read it with an open mind and
heart and you will regain your trust and faith in 1) your own path, whatever that is, 2) in your own
purity and 3) the goodness of life. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is
and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. Its value is too great to allow language to stand in
the way. So what little explanation that The Course has is necessary for those of us who've corrupted
our thought system with our own complex view of life instead of the TRUTH's version of things,
and therefore need elaborate explanation via our corrupt system of indirect communication;-) see
how complex I had to make that. You will love yourself and your Self and others as your Self! (If
you are interested in the supplements to the Course, Manual for Teachers, etc. The writing rivals
Shakespeare in its beauty, The language is expressed in Christian terminology, but this is a universal
course, which offers tools, both theoretical and practical, to undo fear, guilt, anger, denial and dis-
ease, and thus reveal the Inner Light in us all. Here Christ has written directly in Modern English,
using the appropriate language to convey the crucial concepts. We meet once a week and spend one

the tectonic importance of this book and its eternal messages for all of us who thirst for the Truth.

year to read the text part, a little each day. It was created by going back to Helen’s shorthand Notes
and editing afresh, retaining the original words to the maximum degree possible. This lessons and
