Different Kinds of Exercises

AEROBIC ACTIVITIES

Cardio or endurance activity that Improves


cardiorespiratory endurance. Aerobic exercise means
“with oxygen”. Your breathing and heart rate will
increase during aerobic activities. Done for a sustained
period of time.

MUSCLE-STRENGTHENING ACTIVITIES

Resistance training. Used to improve muscular strength


and power. The body works against an applied force or
weight

BONE-STRENGTHENING ACTIVITIES

Weight-bearing or weight loading activity. Promotes


bone growth and strength.
