Time had passed quickly and now the day was going to end,
We wished we could control nature; so the day, we could extend.
As night came closer, the wind’s whistle became shrill,
And very soon the sun had disappeared behind the big hill. KHUSHI DESAI
I couldn’t do anything to stop the day but night had its own beauty, 7–A
Those winter days were extremely memorable and pretty. 3437
White lips, pale face, breathing in snowflakes,
Frozen pond and oak leaf…
Hello! cold days;
Winter’s not a season, it’s a celebration!
Winter sunlight is a warm old soul,
Spreading love in the bitter cold.
The darkest nights producing the brightest stars,
Snowflakes being winter butterflies,
White snow covers everything like a fluffy blanket.
And I, skiing and snowboarding in the mountains.
Curling up by the fire enjoying some hot chocolate;
Christmas happiness overloaded,
J THANVI
And snowman building all day.

Here comes winter
Bringing snow along.
There comes Santa
With a bag full of candies and gifts
Tags along the New Year.
On cold snowy days
I love the hot chocolate
Before I get into bed
For the long dark night.
The short days…oh the short days
There isn’t enough time
To build a big snow man today
So, I’ll do it tomorrow, as well HERIL GOTI

Icy cold weather…
Fire night with family,
Snowball fights with friends.
Hot cup of tea in the morning
Skating and skiing in the snow…

It’s the coldest season of the year
It’s chilly chill…
A mug of hot chocolate would be nice
That’s the season to be young!
Catching snowflakes in our tongue…
It’s when Christmas falls and we wait for Santa
And take a trip to Atlanta!
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
I love winter and I’m sure, so do you!

Ho! Ho! It’s winter!
The time we all love
The time we enter.
A ground with the colour of a dove
There is Christmas which is merry
And we all long for gifts.
And there comes Santa and his fairy
Full of joy and bliss.

Showers of snowfall
And cold chilling nights,
Sipping hot coffee
And waiting for sunlight.
Covered in blankets
And dozing on Sundays,
Shopping for jackets
Are surely the fun days !
Summers are good
Autumn is fun
Spring is good too,
But Winter is the best! TANVI CHIRANIA

The sky is dark,
And snow covers the ground.
The world is peaceful

In the winter,
The rime commences its show,
As the meadows witness the cold winds blow.
The snow greets its dear admirers,
And covers the greatest of lands
With a white blanket whose temperature ever so low.
The long nights are crystal clear and cold,
The wildlife without shelter live so bold.
The children plod aimlessly into the deep snow,
And the elderly sip on hot beverages indoors.
All of them glare at the window
To spectate the truly cherishable prospect KUNKU GOUTHAM KRISHNA
that the frostiest of seasons beholds. 8–B

Watching snowflakes dance in the air,
I ponder on winter and all its wonders.
Snow globes glittering to tell stories that once were true,
Winter’s coming: can you feel it too?
I smell gingerbread cookies and I take a deep sniff
remembering that I must pack. Oh! So many gifts,
I fantasise about Santa Claus navigating down the alleyway,
So many houses to surprise, he chuckles and says!
Making snow men pass time,
Singing cheery songs and rhymes,
Hanging wreaths on doors,
and stockings by the fireplace.
It’s always about good times and old-fashioned fun,
Happiness under the fresh rays of the winter sun, S. ANURADHA

It’s no doubt, Christmas is the name on everyone’s tongue .
Here comes winter,
Making animals whimper!
Snow here and snow there,
It’s happiness everywhere…
It is the season of hibernation,
Due to temperature variation.
Here come Christmas,
Folk tales and joyousness.
It’s time to bid goodbye to the past year,
And welcome the New year with a lot of cheer!

Let’s make this winter a wonderland.
It is no blunder
That winter is truly a wonder.
The red robin flies out of its nest
But Oh! so does it want to rest!
The snow starts falling like crystals
and goes cold as the city of Bristol
Temperatures may freeze
from the cold icy breeze.
Here comes Christmas
A time for children to make their wishes!
For friends who pull the sleigh
Santa gives his gifts away.
Thus comes the end of the year…

Winter, the Earth’s greatest wonder.
The snowfalls and the snowballs,
The snow globe and the snowdrifts,
The gifts and the mysteries.
The big friendly snowman,
The small cute ginger house,
The who’s and the when’s,
The how’s and the what’s!
For every winter, Christmas is there.
And for every Christmas, wonders are there.
‘Hoho’ ‘Hoho’, Santa says
Whilst giving gifts on winter days.

After the blazing heat from summer departs,
The chill aired winter starts.
People start wearing woollen clothes,
And the ones who don’t, have a running nose!
