Plot:
Sir Thomas Malory (c. 1415-1471 CE) was an English knight during the War of the Roses (1455-
1487 CE) best known for his highly influential work of medieval literature.

Setting:
"Thomas Malory" wrote Le Morte d' Arthur which include the chapter of the Day of Destiny. The
Day of Destiny and the book in general was set in the fictional Kingdom of England during 15th
century England.

Characters:
 Thomas Malory: Grew up in the finest ideals cavalry. And lived and died as a knight.
 King Arthur: The legendary king of Britain Merlin: A magician who was Arthur's friend and
an adviser.
 Sir Lucan and sir Bedivere the butler: they were the one who lifted king Arthur up and led
him betwixt gambat to a little chapel not far from the seaside.
 Earl of Warwick (?) Knights of round table: knights of Arthur that were noted for their
nobility and loyalty.

Conflict:
In the story "Thomas Malory," the conflict arises as the protagonist finds himself torn between
his chivalric ideals and the dark realities of the medieval world.

Plot:
King Arthur is known as one of the most popular legends of all time. There are a number of
stories and pieces of literature written about King Arthur's reign. The most popular and historical
story about King Arthur's death is a prose piece written by Thomas Malory entitled Le Morte
D'Arthur. This work was first published in 1485. Although King Arthur tried to maintain
structure and order as a king, betrayal by the people closest to him eventually led to his demise.
Setting:
Set in fifth century Britain and France, these tales capture King Arthur's rise to power and his
war against the Roman occupation. They include the origins and adventures of Sir Lancelot, Sir
Gareth, and other Knights of the Round Table and the quest for the Holy Grail. He was betrayed
by his own wife Guinevere and his best knight Lancelot. In the end, King Arthur was killed by
his son in a battle over the kingdom.
Characters:
 King Arthur - The legendary king of Camelot and the central figure of the Arthurian
legends.
 Queen Guinevere - Arthur's wife and the cause of much conflict due to her affair with
Lancelot.
 Sir Bedivere - One of Arthur's loyal knights who plays a pivotal role in the tale of
