 Kwun Tong and Kowloon City District Councils organized sub-


committees to focus on Kai Tak Development
 professional bodies: HKUDA, HKIA and HKIP organized the ‘Kai Tak
Urban Design Competition’
 the local residents/interested groups organized different concerned
groups to express their concerns and aspirations on the Kai Tak
Development. These concerned groups include 啓德發展民間聯席, 土
瓜灣十三街啓德關注組, 九龍城關注啓德發展居民組, etc

 to develop land use concept plans for Kai Tak
 the participants with diverse background and
different expertise were divided into 9 groups to
work on a land use concept plan for Kai Tak.
 through the iterative processes of brainstorming and
exchanging ideas, the participants developed their
shared vision and worked together to translate
conceptual ideas into a physical plan.
