Hello and welcome to our presentation, my name is Noor and this is Marjolijn.

Today were gonna talk

about Ireland as you can see. I’m gonna talk about the country Ireland, the places where you should
go to and the foods and drinks.

Ireland is a country placed in West- Europe so their currancy is the euro. They have a population of
around 5 million people, which is strange because you think Ireland is a big country. 555.000 people
from Ireland are from Dublin which is the capital of the country. Their native language is English but
everyone has to study Irish.

There are many places you can go to in Ireland like the ‘Cliffs of Moher’. The cliff is around 214
meters high and can walk on them. When you walk on them you have a very beautiful view on the
Atlantic Ocean. You can go to a Visitors center and you also can do a boat trip there.

The next place you can go to is the ‘Carrauntoohil’. It’s around 1040 meters high which makes it the
highest cliff in Ireland. It’s very difficult to get to the top of the cliff because you have to climb
sometimes.

The Irish absolutely love alcohol, you can legally drink in Ireland when you’re 18 years old. The most
popular beer brand of Ireland is ‘Guinness’. ‘Guinness became famous of their book ‘Guinness world
of records’.

The Irish also love all different kind of potatoes, the most popular meal is mashed potatoes.

Sheep is also a very popular in the country because they can live in almost every terrain. The most
common sheep is ‘The Scottisch Blackface’.

And last but not least is Irish beef which is actually just normal beef from a cow. But they call it Irish
beef to make it more popular.
