VVER-1200 pressurized water reactors.

multiple phases since its beginning in 2017.
International Colaboration: This project is a collaboration
between Russia and Bangladesh. The Russain state nuclear
agency known as Rosatom is directly engaged with this project
and it is a key partner in the construction and operation of the
plant.
Budget: With a Russian loan amounting to US $11.38 billion the
project is being built on a budget of US $12.65, with repayments
commencing 10 years after operation. And the rest is financed by
Bangladeshi Government.

of main equipment to 60 years without replacing it. The turbine
