Crochet pattern bird by ATERGcrochet

Material: 5 colors cotton + crochet hook B / 2,5mm

I love to crochet with the cotton of Catania from Schachenmayr

Used stitches
ch = chain trc = triple crochet
slst = slip stitch dtr = double treble crochet
sc = single crochet picot = 4ch - 1slst in the first stitch of the 4ch
hdc = half double crochet trtr = triple treble
dc = double crochet
trc = triple crochet

hdc=yarn over, insert hook, yarn over, pull through (3 loops), yarn over, pull through 3 loops
dc=yarn over 1 time, insert hook, yarn over, pull through (3 loops), *yarn over, pull through 2 loops*, repeat from * to * 1 time
trc=yarn over 2 times, insert hook, yarn over, pull through (4 loops), *yarn over, pull through 2 loops*, repeat from * to * 2 times
dtr=yarn over 3 times, insert hook, yarn over, pull through (5 loops), *yarn over, pull through 2 loops*, repeat from * to * 3 times
trtr=yarn over 4 times, insert hook,yarn over, pull through (6 loops), *yarn over, pull through 2 loops*, repeat from * to * 4 times

ROW 1 crochet 6 chain stitches + close with slst

in ring 3 ch (=first dc) - 5 dc – 4 trc (= upper site) – 6dc
close with slst
cut thread

ROW 2 attach a new between 2dc last row (yarn over/pull through = first sc)
1 ch –1 sc (between two dc) repeat 15x

 1 ch +close with slst
cut thread

ROW 3 attach a new color between the fourth + fifth sc beneeth the 4trc of the first row
1 hdc in the same stitch
in next stitch 1 dc +1 trc
in next stitch 1 dtr + picot + 1 trc

in next stitch 1 dc + 1 hdc

crochet around
13 x 1 sc (between 2sc last row) – 1ch
close with slst
cut thread

 crochet with a new color a chain on the first row with dc’s:
attach thread between 2dc of the first row
and crochet a chain on/around the dc’s
cut thread

BEAK attach a new color between 2 sc last row (in line with chain on first row)
crochet 2 sc + cut thread
put your needle in first stitch + pull cut thread through the first stitch+ finish

finish all threads on the backside

and attach the bead with a double knot on the bird
