Hi Dal,

I hope this message finds you well. I hope things are good with the family. Henry's new car
looked great! They’re growing up too fast.

I'm writing to you today because I'm looking to make a career change. I've been working as a
teacher for quite a few years, and I've enjoyed the experience of helping others learn.
However, I'm now looking for something that can support me into my retirement. I’m
looking to relocate, so the US is something Aaron and I have been considering. Asia is an
amazing place for the short term, but nationalist views, mean you will always be an outsider,
which makes it difficult to put down permanent roots. I may consider returning for my
retirement, who knows what the future holds.

I've been doing some research, and I'm interested in moving into the training sector. It's an
occupation that matches my current skill set and experience. I have a lot of experience
teaching both children and adults, and I'm confident that I can be an effective trainer. I'm also
passionate about teaching and training, and I'm excited about the opportunity to share my
knowledge with others. I have created curricula and teaching materials. I regularly have to
learn new subject matter and gain a deep understanding of various subjects in order to share
my knowledge with my students and colleagues, which would be a requirement for that job
role.

I know you have been very successful in your career, and I was wondering if you, or you
have any contacts that can help me find a job in a training role. I'm open to any type of
position, but I'm particularly interested in working in the corporate sector.

I appreciate any help or assistance you can give. I’m just in the process of updating my
resume so it is in line with training roles.

Cheers Gav
