SPECIAL USE OF VERBS - Non-action verbs

Có một số động từ không được sử dụng trong thì Present Continuous gọi là non-action
verb. Non-action verb có thể được phân chia thành các nhóm nhỏ như sau:

1) Verbs of thoughts: I think you’re right. I’m thinking ….

realize ….

2) Verbs of emotion: I like dogs. I’m liking …

3) Verbs of sense: I hear someone outside. I’m hearing someone…

4) Verbs of possession: I have a house. I’m having a house.

Trong những động từ trên, có những động từ có thể được hiểu theo nghĩa non-action
verb và action verb tùy vào chủ đích người nói:

1) Think

Action verb Non-action verb

Động từ “have” là action verb khi nằm trong những cụm từ và có ý nghĩa sau:
