Introduction
For this trip tourists will be traveling to two cities, Seoul and Yongin,
and be highlighting 4 different destinations, two for each city. In
Seoul, they will go to Gyeongbokgung palace and Insadong. In Yongin
they'll go to the Korean folk village museum and Everland. On the
way to these places they will also be eating the food available near
them in their destinations over this 5-day vacation.
Seoul - Day 1 - Arriving
To enjoy Seoul we first have to talk about how to get there. Since the
first destination we will be visiting will be Gyeongbokgung Palace the
nearest airport is the Gimpo International Airport. However we also
need a hotel to stay at during our visit to Seoul and one that is
recommended is the Somerset Palace Seoul which includes an
outdoor pool, fitness center, and a restaurant. From Gimpo to
Somerset it takes about 49 minutes by riding both the 4001 train and
111 bus. This first day in Seoul will be spent as a time to become
accustomed to the area before fully starting the tour.
Seoul - Day 2- Going to Gyeongbokgung Palace
From 8:30-9:00 A.M. tourists will make their way to Gyeongbokgung
Palace from the hotel. To get there, they will board the 7022 green
bus to Gyeongbokgung station and, once off the bus, walk about 8
minutes to Gyeongbokgung Palace. y This trip takes about 14
minutes and the remaining time tourists have before 9:00 will be
used to take in the scenery before entering the palace.
Seoul - Day 2 - Gyeongbokgung Palace
Once 9:00 A.M. arrives, tourists will enter Gyeongbokgung Palace.
From 9:00 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. they will explore all that Gyeongbokgung
Palace has to offer such as:
● The Gyeonghoeru Pavilion
● National Palace Museum of Korea
● Geunjeongjeon Vicinity
● Hanbok Rental (starting at $7 or 8,683 won)

After finishing exploring, tourists are sure to be hungry and one of


the restaurants nearby is Bong Dak Chicken where they can eat both
fried and roasted chicken. While it is not necessary to visit this
restaurant specifically, 12:30 - 1:30 P.M. will serve as a lunch break
for tourists before heading to the next destination: Insadong
Seoul - Day 2 - Going to Insadong
To get to Insadong from Gyeongbokgung Palace, tourists will return
to Gyeongbokgung station and board the 7212 green bus, leave at
Jongno 2-ga, and walk for about 4 minutes to reach Insadong.
Tourists will take this trip from 1:30 - 2:00 P.M. as it takes about 23
minutes to arrive.
Seoul - Day 2 - Insadong
Once at Insadong, tourists will have the opportunity to shop at the
many stores that are available from 2:00 - 5:00 P.M. Some of the sites
of Insadong include:
● The Ssamziegil
● Bukchon Hanok Village
● Huwon Secret Garden
● Tapgol Park

After exploring the area, tourists will then return to their hotels for
the day and prepare for tomorrow
Seoul - Day 2 - Break
After having such a long day, the tourists will return to their hotels by
boarding the 151 blue bus at Jogyesa temple and leave at Anguk
station; this trip takes about 11 minutes. When tourists arrive at their
hotels, they will be allowed to use the remaining time to do whatever
they want until tomorrow whether it be finding out what the hotel
has to offer or exploring the nearby area.
Day 3 - From Seoul to Yongin
When tourists wake up, they will have until 10:30 A.M. to get ready
to go the to Korean Folk Village. When it becomes 10:30 tourists will
board the 01 yellow bus in Gyeongbokgung then leave and switch to
the 5005 red bus in Jungang Cinema before they again switch to the
5001-1 red bus in Sangmi Village and finally leave at Ssangyong
Apartments to then walk the rest of the way to the Korean Folk
Village. Since this trip takes about an hour and 20 minutes, tourists
will take this trip from 10:30 - 12:00 P.M.
Yongin - Day 3 - Korean Folk Village
Once arriving at the Korean Folk Village, tourists will be given 12:00 -
5:00 P.M. to explore the area. Tourists can go and visit places such as:
● The Preformance Area
● Market Village
● Noble Man's Mansion
● Korean Folk Museum

After going throught some of the experiences, tourists can then have a
meal at the bazaar and have a taste of some traditional Korean food.
Yongin - Day 3 - Going to a new hotel

After leaving the Korean Folk Village, Tourists will check into a new
hotel, the Q Hotel. To get there, they will board the 5005-1 red bus
again until they get to city hall in which they will then board the 66
blue bus, leave in Pogok Nonghyup Jeondae Branch and walk 2
minutes to the hotel. Tourists will spend the rest of their day in the
hotel which includes free wi-fi, air conditioning, and breakfast. The
price to stay is 53 dollars (66,278 won)
Yongin - Day 4 - Going to Everland
Tourists will once again have until 10:00 A.M. to prepare for their
next destination. To ge to Everland, tourists will board the 5700B red
bus in Squadron 3 li and leave at the Everland stop; from there
tourists will walk 7 minutes to Everland. This takes about 13 minutes
so tourists will enter the park at 10:20 A.M.
Yongin - Day 4 - Everland

After buying their tickets that cost anywhere from 24.50 - 55.00
dollars (30,637 -68,779 won), Tourists will go into Everland, from
10:20 - 7:30 P.M., and go into many attractions such as:
● T - express
● Safari World
● Thunder Falls
● Robot VR

After this day filled with adventure, tourists will prepare to go home the
very next day after returning to the hotel.
Day 5 - Going back home

Tourists will have until 12:00 P.M. to get ready to head to the airport
and go back home. Tourists will board the 1701 green train from
Jeondae - Everland and leave at the stadium in Songdam College.
They will then board the Gimpo International airport bus in the Yong
common bus terminal until they reach the stop and head into the
airport and finally go home. This trip takes about 2 hours and 33
minutes so tourists are expected to arrive at 3:00 at the latest.
