SCHOOL PLAN FOR COMPLIANCE WITH MINIMUM HEALTH


STANDARDS CONSISTENT WITH THE GUIDELINES OF DOH AND IATF
AS REQUIRED IN THE DO #13, s.2020

Guiding Principle: Compliance to minimum health standards prescribed by DOH will be the
new protocol in the operation of CASILI UNITED METHODIST CHRISTIAN SCHOOL,
INC. This document will provide detailed and workable guidance for the prevention, early
detection and control of COVID-19 within the premise of CUMCSI. and community.

I. READINESS OF SCHOOL FACILITIES


1. Separate entrance gates shall be dedicated for entrance and exit personnel, parents and
other guests.
2. The following facilities shall be provided:
a. Foot bath with disinfectant solution outside the classroom.
b. Hand sanitizing area outside the classroom.
c. Temperature Scanner.
d. Separate clean rest rooms for male and female.
e. Faculty rooms designed for social distancing.
3. Hygiene Maintenance within the school.
a. School surroundings will be cleaned every day.
b. All rooms must be sprayed with disinfectant twice daily ( morning and
afternoon).
c. Frequently touched equipment/materials (i,e door knobs, tables, chairs) will be
sanitized with soap and water/alcohol whichever is available and appropriate.
d. Foot bath will be cleaned and replaced twice a day (morning and afternoon).
e. Comfort rooms will be cleaned and sanitized twice a day. Hand soap will be
provided.
f. Wastes segregation will be practiced. Designated wastes bins will be provided.
II. HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOL
1. Arrival at School
a. Face mask must be wear prior to entrance at the school premise. NO
FACEMASK,NO ENTRY. Face mask must be wear at all times inside the school
vicinity.
b. Everyone must be subjected to temperature scanning at the entrance gate. Anyone
with confirmed body temperature above 37.5 ℃ and with flu like symptoms such as
but not limited to coughing, sneezing/runny nose shall be prohibited from entering the
school premise. He/she will be advised to go home or consult a medical doctor.
c. Footwear sole must be dipped in the foot bath with disinfectant solution for at least
5 seconds prior to entry.
d. Hands must be sanitized with alcohol provided at the entrance gate.
e. Guests must be proceed to transaction windows immediately with social distancing,
at least 1 meter away from each other.
f. School personnel shall proceed directly to their designated workplace.
g. Guest will be required to fill up forms indicating their complete name, address,
contact number, date and time of visit for contact tracing as the need arises.
h. No social interaction/ gatherings shall be allowed within the school.
i. No shaking of hands/ spitting.
2. Learning Sessions:
Before the beginning of Distance Learning, the school must provide a video presentation
that will shown to pupils to orient them, raise their awareness and address their psychosocial
understanding of the NEW NORMAL. Topics shall include the following:
a. What is COVID -19 virus, its ill effect?
b. Why do we resort to Distance learning?
c. Demonstration of good health behaviors like how to do proper hand washing,
covering when coughing and sneezing and avoid touching face, eyes, nose, social
distancing, ( better if this can be done as an exercise.)
d. What to do if they feel sick?
e. Social Distancing must be practiced.
f. Materials to be delivered must be sanitized before handling over to pupils/parents.
