z5is RTBI Re eee ANNOUNCEMENT Rwanda TVET Board ( RTB) is pleased to announce that in partnership with the German Government through KFW Development Bank, a new project has been initiated with the aim of removing barriers for accessing and benefiting from work opportunities offered by Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs. ‘The project will offer scholarships to the best-performing students from low-income households successfully completing the O’Level and enrolled in targeted Technical Secondary Schools in Level 3 starting with the next academic year 2023/2024. The project will provide scholarships to access technical education in the following training programmes: + Agriculture, * Animal Health, © Manufacturing Technolog, * Wood Technology, * Electrical Technology, Electronic and Telecommunication, * Renewable Energy, * Automobile technology This scholarship scheme will start with the following 14 Technical Secondary schools, with a possibility to expand to other TSSs to reach a minimum of 4,000 students over a period of three years: + ESTB Busogo, * BFA Nyagahanga, + Kabutare TSS, * EAV Rushashi, * Kinihira TSS, + Father Ramon Kabuga TSS, * Nyanza TSS, + ESKinazi TSS, + Nyamata TSS, * Mibirizi Saint Augustin TSS, + Nelson Mandela TSS, + Gatumba TSS, « Mpanda TSS, * Kabona TSS. We encourage Rwandan youth to enroll in Technical Secondary Schools to take advantage of this and many other good opportunities to come. Dipl.-Ing.
