    Provide an explanation as why do you consider it as a theme of the story, in 2 sentences.

    Story: “In a Grove”

    Theme: Mystery

    In my view and understanding, mystery, is I think the most suited theme of the story “In
    a Grove.” It’s because the entire story revolves around a mysterious crime incident where
    three recorded confessions left us confused and ambiguous, giving us the role of a judge
    to figure out the pieces of the puzzle.
