●Beforehand the Card switching
● Requirements
● Identify the Card that should be replaced

● Required Tools
● 1 star screwdriver
● 1 flat screwdriver
● 1 torx screwdriver

1) Disconnect plugs at the back of the C264

2) Remove the plastic hiding parts
● Open the shutters as much as possible. Then apply a pressure
with the hand in the middle to bend it and to remove it.

3) Unscrew the front screw

● The front part (GHU) is set to the main part with 6 star screws.

4) Front panel removal
● After the previous step, remove the front panel. Mind the
connecting wire RJ11. DO NOT STRAIN the wire too much !
Unplug it before the total removal of the panel.

5) Access the C264 inside
● Once the front panel has been removed you have access to the
inside Cards. They are blocked both up and down by the Bus
Card and a Metal Bar:

Remove with hands

Metal Bar : Blocked


by 3 screws (torx)

6) Unplug the Bus Card
● The Bus Card is set by a simple pressure with hands.

7) Unscrew the Metal Bar that block the Cards

● There are 3 screws to unscrew to have access to the Cards.

8) Card Removal
● In order to remove a Card, unscrew the screw at the top of the
Card.

9) Card Switching

● Once the last screw removed you can change the Card you want.

10) Card Address

● DO NOT forget to set the same address to the new Card with the
jumpers as explained previously !

11) Rebuilt the Calculator

● In order to rebuild the calculator proceed with the same sequence


but reversed.
