STATICS- a branch of mechanics that deals with the Problem 4. (CE BOARD DEC. 2014)
study of the effects and distribution of forces on In the figure:
rigid bodies at rest. Force A = 6.0 kN
Force B = 2.4 kN
Concurrent Forces – forces that meet at a single point. Angle 𝛽 = 30 degrees
Non-concurrent forces – forces that do not meet at a
single point.
Coplanar forces- forces that lie on the same plane.
Non-coplanar forces-forces that do not lie on the
same plane.
