tetrahydrocannabinol THC.

It is the main psychoactive

compound in cannabis. THC is responsible for the “high”
most people associate with cannabis. But you should know
that this active cannabis molecule acts on the brain but also on
the organs, which generates multiple effects such as hunger, a
feeling of dry throat, fatigue or even euphoria. The
psychoactive effects of tetrahydrocannabinol are caused by a
connection known to affect perception, motor skills,
emotionality, and satiety.
How THC works on the body
To understand how thc function let’s start with neurotransmitters they
are a molecules that send chemical messages between nerve cells
throughout the nervous system. They affect brain areas that influence
pleasure, memory, thinking, concentration, movement, coordination,
and sensory and time perception.the component THC is so similar to
neurotransmitters it is able to attach to molecules called cannabinoid
receptors on neurons in these brain areas and activate them, disrupting
various mental and physical functions and causing some dangerous
effects described earlier. The neural communication network that uses
these cannabinoid neurotransmitters, known as the endocannabinoid
system, plays a critical role in the nervous system’s normal
functioning, so interfering with it can have profound effects.

As a result, using marijuana causes impaired thinking and interferes

with a person’s ability to learn and perform complicated tasks
Why we need to legilize it?

Public opinion about legalizing cannabis, while little changed in the past few years,
has undergone a dramatic long-term shift. Despite federal prohibition of all
cannabis use, 33 states and the District of Columbia have legalized cannabis for
medical purposes; 11 of them and DC have further legalized it for recreational
uses, and 15 other states have decriminalized cannabis use to some extent.

When asked, in their own words, why they favor or oppose legalizing cannabis,
countries on the opposite side of the issue offer very different perspectives. But a
common theme is the danger posed by cannabis ; it is a dangerous drug, one that
inflicts damage on people and society more generally and that We have enough
addictive things that are already legal.

Otherwise, Supporters of legalization mention its perceived health benefits, or see it

as no more dangerous than other drugs and they think crime would be lower if they
legalized marijuana.. The most frequently cited reasons for supporting its legalization
are its medicinal benefits and the belief that marijuana is no worse than other drugs
with many explicitly mentioning that they think it is no more dangerous than alcohol
or cigarettes.

Talking about our country Cannabis in Morocco had been illegal since the nation's
independence in 1956, reaffirmed by a total ban on drugs in 1974, but was
partially tolerated in the country. Cannabis has been cultivated in Morocco for
centuries and the country is currently among the world's top producers of hashish.
As of 2016, Morocco was the world's top supplier of cannabis. On May 26, 2021,
the Moroccan parliament voted to legalize the use of cannabis for medical, as well
as cosmetic and industrial purposes.
Epilipsy

(CBD) products have become popular in recent years for their

apparent therapeutic effects. CBD — a naturally occurring compound
of the cannabis plant legally derived from hemp — is used widely as a
naturopathic remedy for a number of health conditions, including
epilepsy and seizure disorders. Searchers found that CBD may reduce
the adverse effects associated with anti-seizure medications, and
seems to improve other aspects of health and quality of life for
patients.Treatment with CBD can reduce the frequency of seizures by
at least 50%. This rate shows that CBD can therefore be considered as
an anti-epileptic drug whose effectiveness is comparable to other anti-
epileptics. This is by no means a miracle cure!
On the other side CBD can cause side effects in a significant
proportion,. These side effects are mild to moderate. The most
frequently encountered side effects are: diarrhea, drowsiness, loss of
appetite, alteration of liver enzymes.
Here too, CBD behaves like a classic anti-epileptic.
