ABOUT US
S.C. ACI CLUJ S.A. was founded in 1991 as a joint stock company , with entirely private capital.

Our company departed from the Industrial Construction Trust, a company founded in 1952, which included the country’s North-Western
region.

Since November 2003, the company has made important changes in management, along with investments in technology and personnel.

S.C. ACI CLUJ S.A. performs its business nationally and abroad and executes the entire range of construction and installation works, turnkey
delivered, as general contractor.

For the performance of its activity, the company is organized as follows:

In the city of Cluj-Napoca, there are the headquarters of the company and the production base, where the company’s main endowments are
located: the prefinished concrete products factory, ironworks, cutting and bending of reinforcements workshops, carpentry and mechanical
workshop, concrete stations, aggregate storage spaces, the SECOM storage spaces and the construction trial laboratory;

Also, within the S.C. ACI CLUJ S.A. Production Base, there is the company’s cafeteria, the employees’ homes, locker rooms and administrative
offices;

In the locality Baţa, in Bistriţa-Năsăud County, we have a sorting station and authorized gravel pit, from where the entire quantity of
aggregates necessary for the production of concretes is ensured;

In Dusseldorf there is the office for works in Germany.

THE PRECAST CONCRETE ELEMENTS FACTORY
Starting with the year 2007, following the request of prefinished products on the Romanian market, the concrete
prefinished elements plant was founded within the company.
We have the pleasure to announce that our company offers prefinished products made with metallic forms.
The prefinished products can be delivered on site, upon request, and, according to your needs, we can also
execute their assembling.
The concrete prefinished products have a high quality and uniformity, as their production is performed in a
controlled environment, in the production base. The variables which might affect the quality of the prefinished
products if they would be executed in the work points are: temperature, humidity, the quality of the material and
the experience of the employed personnel; these are completely eliminated in the prefinished products plant.
The quality of the used materials and prefinished products is one of the company’s permanent concerns. Since
2009, the compliance of the prefinished products with the reference standards are established by the quality
certificates issued by SRAC.
Upon this investment, with the procurement of machines and modern equipment, the production capacities and
assembling capacity were increased.
These investments led to an increase in the quality of products, physical production and turnover.

THE PREFINISHED PRODUCTS PLANT SC ACI CLUJ SA can provide:
sleeve foundations, poles, pre-compressed panels, pre-compressed beams, façade panels, floors,
reinforced concrete plates, with passable and non-passable cover, fountain rings, prefinished
concrete elements, for road bridges – wings, running and marginal slabs, drums, frames, etc.

CONCRETE PLANTS
Our concrete plant could provide the following classes of concrete:
C2.8/3.5, C6/7.5, C8/10, C12/15, C16/20, C20/25, C25/30;
Upon request, we can make concretes based on the recipes elaborated by the customer. All recipes are verified within our laboratory.
The new concrete station Liebherr type Betomix 1.0 R is completely automated and the batching of the material is computerized.
The station is endowed with 5 prebatchers for the storage of aggregates, 3 silos for the storage of cement and 4 aggregate storages, with a
total storage capacity of 8000 m3.
All concretes will be delivered according to the customer’s request, at the place, date and hour specified. Our company also insures the
transportation. For the pouring of concretes and binder, we offer the new Putzmeister type pump, with a 36 m arm, owned by our
company.
The delivered concretes are accompanied by the conformity statement. The concrete tryouts are performed according to NE 012/99 in our
own laboratory, class II authorization, for 10 profiles.
For large orders, of over 50 m3 and for frequent customers we offer discounts.

THE REINFORCEMENT CUTTING AND BENDING
WORKSHOP
Fastening iron - cutting and bending
The reinforcement cutting and bending line is endowed with a state of the art, computer
assisted, Mini Syntax machine, which can automatically process coil reinforcements, with
diameters Ø6 - Ø12 OB37 and PC 52 Ø8 – Ø16 .
Execution of pile cases
Our reinforcement cutting and bending section executes cases with diameters between Ø100 -
Ø1000, from fastening iron Ø6 - Ø32.

THE TRIAL LABORATORY

THE TRIAL LABORATORY
The 2nd grade certified construction trial laboratory Someşeni, belonging to S.C. ACI CLUJ S.A., is
authorized by the State Construction Inspectorate, through authorization no. 1551/15.09.2008 for the
performance of trials and laboratory checks, in the profiles:
- ANCFD –natural aggregates for LR works and roads;
- AR –OB support reinforcements, wire or welded nets;
- BBABP – concrete, reinforced concrete and precompressed concrete;
- D – roads;
- GTF – geotehnique and foundation land;
- INN – non-destructive, non-metal trials;
- MBM – materials for concrete and binders;
- MTZ – binders for plastering and masonry;
- VNCEC – non-destructive trials and trails for the exploitation behavior of constructions;
- ZP – masonry and walls
The laboratory has state of the art equipment, operated by qualified personnel.
