Yesterday morning, I wasn’t Yesterday afternoon, I wasn’t Yesterday evening, I wasn’t

cleaning the car. I was Reading a playing with my Friends. I was watering the plants. I was
book. doing homework. watching TV.

FRED : Hi Trevor. What’s the matter? Why didn’t you call?
TREVOR : Hi, Fred. Today was the worst day of my life.
FRED: Why?
TREVOR: Because everything went wrong!
FRED: What happened?
TREVOR: Well, first I woke up late and I didn’t have breakfast.Then, I
went to the bus stop and waited for the bus but it never came! So, I
went back home and I got my bike. And I had an accident.
FRED: An accident? Were you going fast?
TREVOR: Yes, I was. That was the problem. Suddenly, I slipped on
some water and I fell off my bike. I was wet, dirty and my arm really
hurt!
FRED: Oh Trevor! Did you see a doctor? Is your arm OK now?
TREVOR: No it isn’t. I went to the hospital. You see.. I broke it!
FRED: Oh, no! It really was a bad day!
