My favorite movie is the princess and the frog, I do not remember when was the first

time I saw it, but I do remember that Tiana (the protagonist) became one of my
favorite Disney princesses for everything she represents, I think that unlike other
princesses she leaves you a moral that if you do not work for what you want and
strive you will not get your reward from heaven.
The movie is set in New Orleans I think in the 50's and I think they show you very
well the culture of that place through the different places and music that as a viewer
you can see, the plot is not only a princess looking for the love of a prince if not goes
beyond that, it is a young girl of lower social class making a sacrifice to fulfill one of
his dreams and honor the memory of his deceased father, Throughout the film we
see how she fights against obstacles not only economic but also racial, with the
criticism of what she considers her social circle and on top of that at one point she
manages to break the bubble of privilege of the prince she meets making him fall in
love with her for her character and personality.
Personally I am a believer that this movie has the best villain of all Disney, Dr. Facilier
really scares you, besides being a voodoo sorcerer he really does things that only a
really evil person would do, he is an evil character with a great presence in the movie.
On the other hand, a fundamental part is all the soundtrack it has, one of my favorite
songs is the presentation of Dr Facilier with the song "influence in the afterlife" and
in the moment where Naveen (the prince) realizes he is in love with Tiana while
Mama Odie sang "Work hard".
This whole movie is full of wonderful things, the songs, the scenarios they show us,
each and every one of the characters with whom you manage to empathize and see
that they all have their own motivations, but, above all those emotional moments of
the movie, the death of one of the most beloved characters, the feeling that the main
characters' goal could no longer be achieved and the love and feeling of being in
love with someone in the most genuine way possible.
Being able to have an animated children's movie with all these elements makes it
unique and that is why it is one of my favorite movies not only animated but in
general, it is a movie that I really enjoy watching and whenever I can I share it with
third parties, I think that all my family, cousins and friends have seen this movie at
least once because I told them.
Aside from the fact that it is a cartoon and you would normally expect children to
watch it, I think it is loaded with a beautiful message of overcoming and not closing
your mind only to a goal but also to experience and enjoy fighting against obstacles
just like Tiana and Prince Naveen throughout the movie.
