JUSTIFICATION
Over 114 million tons of bananas are
produced each year. The peel, which
accounts for roughly one-third of the
fruit's weight is commonly discarded
as waste in the food industry
(Rahmana Putra et. al, 2022). This
problem is one of the most evident in
research subjects (Practical Research 1
and 2, and Inquiry, Investigation, and
Immersion). Failure to address this
problem can result in major
environmental challenges, such as
water and soil pollution, the
greenhouse effect, global warming,
and other health problems (Prakash
Nirmal et. al, 2023). As a result, the
researcher used banana peels as the
main ingredient in the production of
 dishwashing liquid that can potentially
help the SMBI community in
addressing as well as lessening the
waste of banana peels.
