IVY BRACELET

SUPPLIES:
• 11/0 seed beads (SB11)
• 8/0 seed beads (SB8)
• DiamonDuo beads (DD)
• SuperDuo beads (SD)
• O beads (O)
• Nymo D thread or FireLine (about 4 yards)
• Jump rings
• Clasp

TIP: Whenever you pick up a DiamonDuo bead (DD), hold the bead face up
horizontally and go up through the left hole. This will insure that all of your beads end
up facing the right direction.

NOTE: Use tight tension when making this pattern. You will be reminded of this
throughout the tutorial.

STARTING THE FIRST SIDE OF THE BRACELET

Pick up SD + O + three SB11 + O + SD + SB11 + O + DD + O + SB11.

1. Go through all of the beads again to make a circle, leaving a tail long enough to weave in later.
Tie a knot when you meet the tail.

2. Go through the SD, O and the first SB11. Skip the next SB11. Go on through the next SB11, O
and SD. Pop out the skipped bead and pull the beads tight. Continue around through the SB11, O,
DD, O, SB11, SD, O, three SB11, O and SD. Pull the beads tight. Go through the other hole of the
SD that you just exited.

3. Pick up three SB11 + SD + SB11. Go back around through the SD that you just exited.

4. Go through the first SB11. Skip the next SB11 and go through the next SB11, SD, SB11 and SD.
Pop out the skipped bead and pull the beads tight. Go on through the three SB11 and the SD. Pull
the beads tight. Exit through the other hole of the SD.

5. Pick up O + three SB11 + O + SD + SB11 + O + DD + O + SB11. Go back around through the SD
that you just exited.

6. Go on through the O and the first SB11. Skip the next SB11. Go on through the next SB11, O
and SD. Pop out the skipped bead and pull the beads tight. Continue around through the next
SB11, O, DD, O, SB11, SD, O, three SB11, O and SD. Pull the beads tight. Go through the other
hole of the SD that you just exited.

7. Repeat Steps 3-6 for the length of the bracelet minus about 1 1/4 inches for the clasp loops and
clasp.

MAKING THE FIRST CLASP LOOP

8. Pick up three SB11 + SD + SB11. Go back around through the SD that you just exited.

9. Go through the first SB11. Skip the next SB11 and go through the next SB11, SD, SB11 and SD.
Pop out the skipped bead and pull the beads tight. Go on through the three SB11 and the SD. Pull
the beads tight. Exit through the other hole of the SD.

10. Pick up SB11 + SB8 + SB11 + SD + SB11. Go back around and through the SD that you just
exited. Go through the first SB11. Skip the SB8 and go through the next SB11 and SD. Pop out the
SB8 and pull the beads tight. Go on through the next SB11, SD and SB11. Skip the SB8 again and
go on through the SB11, SD, SB11, SD, SB11, SB8, SB11 and SD. Pull the beads tight. Exit
through the other hole of the SD.

11. Pick up three SB11 + SD + SB11. Go back around and through the SD that you just exited.

12. Go through the first SB11. Skip the next SB11 and go through the next SB11, SD, SB11 and
SD. Pop out the skipped bead and pull the beads tight. Go on through the three SB11 and the SD.
Pull the beads tight. Exit through the other hole of the SD.

STARTING THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BRACELET

13. Pick up O + three SB11 + O + SD + SB11 + O. Go right to left around and through the open hole
of the nearest DD, with your needle going toward the end of the bracelet where you just came from
to make a circle of beads.

14. Pick up O + SB11. Go out through the outer hole of the SD that you started from in the previous
step.

15. Go through the O and the first SB11. Skip the next SB11. Go on through the next SB11, O and
SD. Pop out the skipped bead and pull the beads tight. Go on through the SB11, O, DD, O, SB11,
SD, O, three SB11, O and SD. Pull the beads tight. Go through the other hole of the SD.

16. Pick up three SB11 + SD + SB11. Go back around

through the SD that you just exited.

17. Go through the first SB11. Skip the next SB11 and go through the next SB11, SD, SB11 and
SD. Pop out the skipped bead and pull the beads tight. Go on through the three SB11 and the SD.
Pull the beads tight. Exit through the other hole of the SD.

18. Repeat Steps 13-17 for the length of the bracelet.

ADDING THE SECOND CLASP LOOP

19. Pick up SB11 + SB8 + SB11 + SD + SB11. Go back around and through the SD that you just
exited. Go through the first SB11. Skip the SB8 and go through the next SB11 and SD. Pop out the
SB8 and pull the beads tight. Go on through the next SB11, SD and SB11. Skip the SB8 again and
go on through the SB11, SD, SB11, SD, SB11, SB8, SB11 and SD. Pull the beads tight. Exit
through the other hole of the SD.

20. Pick up three SB11. Go in through the open hole of the last SD on the other side of the bracelet.
Pick up SB11 and go through the SD that you started from at the beginning of this step. Go through
the first SB11. Skip the next SB11. Go through the last SB11 and SD. Pop Out the skipped bead
and pull the beads tight. Go on around through the SB11, SD, three SB11 and SD. Pull the beads
tight.

21. Weave in the working and tail threads. Attach your clasp with jump rings through the SB8's on
the ends.
