Bagless Days Class IV & V

Monday, 26 February 2024 till Friday, 1 March 2024

Dear Parents,
We have planned some fun activities for the children as we are nearing the end of the academic year. Kindly
note that these days will be bagless days . The children will be required to carry some material (mentioned
below) along with their almanac, tiffin box and water bottle.
The main goal of the activities planned during the bagless days is to give the children an enjoyable
learning experience. Additionally, the objectives are:
• To increase the scope for practice and the ability for observation-based learning.
• To gain awareness of how interconnected and interdependent communities are.
• To interact and engage with local artisans, and craftsmen to understand and popularise the crafts.
• To enhance observation skills, reasoning, and thinking skills.
• Help in bridging the gap between skill-based learning and disciplines found in the general
education curriculum, such as science, language, social science, math, etc.
• Foster the development of soft skills, such as aesthetic values, cooperation, teamwork, use of
raw materials, creativity, quality consciousness, etc.
• Integrate work with various academic subjects to learn the various concepts, scientific principles,
and basic skills that are closely related to occupations and career opportunities.

The activities planned at Amity International School, Noida for the upcoming Bagless Days are mentioned
