A few traits that will help me with my future career plan as a police officer are

observant, direct and honest, good with problem solving, and enjoys hands on careers.
Being Observant is key for police officers effectively prevent and address criminal
activity. It’s necessary for cops to be observant to build cases and solve crimes. Being
direct and honest is good for building trust with the community. It contributes to good
leadership by promoting a sense of authority. Being honest also helps to uphold ethical
standards and to stay credible. Problem solving is good for conflict resolution. For
example, cops need to de-escalate tense situations quite often and problem solving
enables them to do so. It also leads them to effectively deal with unpredictable
situations. It’s important for a cop to enjoy hands on careers because it will help them
bring a positive mindset to their roles and enables them to have overall job satisfaction
which is very important for life long careers.

I believe that the 16 personalities test was a very accurate depiction of who I am.
A few of the traits that really describe me are blunt, honest, easily bored, hands-on,
needs personal space, and enjoys competition. Another thing that I noticed from the test
is that it mentions one of the career paths being crisis response positions which
includes Police Officers. Being an ISTP almost perfectly suits the career path I’ve
chosen and very well represents my true personality.
