Act 1

Violet and XANDEN collide in the hallway causing the books to fall. Xaden bends down to
help her, and her eyes cross, triggering an instant connection

VIOLEt: oh, I'm sorry, what a way to start the day!

Xaden: Let me help you. I've never seen you before, are you new?

Violet: no, I'm eleven

Xaden: I didn't know there was someone so beautiful in eleven

Violet: thank you, I know

XANDEN: Ush, if I asked you out, would you accept?

Violet: It depends on the weather

Act 2

Narrator: Violet and Xaden share laughter and secrets on the park bench on their first date.
Friendship blossoms quickly.

VIOLET: I never thought that dropping my books would lead me to this. Promise me that
when we are 25 years old we will get married and that you will never leave.

Xaden: I promise you that I will never leave you

Narrator: Xaden smiles, and fate takes an unexpected turn for both of them at Abby's party

Act 3

Valentina: I thought you weren't going to come

Xaden: I had nothing else to do and I was bored.

Valentina: ahh so are you free?

Xaden: Of course, let's dance

Valentina: you should stop going out with people you don't love and start having more fun

While they were dancing, Xaden forgot his relationship with Violet, not realizing that they
were being filmed and they would be on a gossip page the next day.

Act 3

Violet is with her mom in her room.

Violet: Mom, how do I get over it?

Mom: First, chocolate. Then, let's face this. Life is a melodrama with romantic comedy, and
today you are in the dramatic part!

Mom: Violet, I know that you feel that the world is going to fall, that this love is going to end
your life that you will not be able to love anyone else again.
