(A) Politics:

(Boswell, January 14, 2020) We often refer to something as being ‘political’, or ‘all about
politics’, to mean it boils down to a power struggle between people or groups. The
idea is that politics is a process of maneuvering to assert rival interests. On this view,
politics is essentially about settling contestation over the distribution of material
goods.

Sentence: Politics helps people to have a better life in a country where they belong.

(B) Political Science:

Political science focuses on the theory and practice of government and politics at the
local, state, national, and international levels. We are dedicated to developing
understandings of institutions, practices, and relations that constitute public life and
modes of inquiry that promote citizenship.

Sentence: Political Science helps people to understand how government works.

(C) Constitution:

A constitution is the rule book for a state. It sets out the fundamental principles by
which the state is governed. It describes the main institutions of the state, and
defines the relationship between these institutions (for example, between the
executive, legislature and judiciary). It places limits on the exercise of power, and
sets out the rights and duties of citizens.

Sentence: The 1987 Constitution of the Philippines is book they used to guide the
decision they will make in the government.

(D) State:

A state is a community formed by people and exercising permanent power within a


specified territory.

Sentence: The United States of America is one of example of state.


(E) Nation:

A nation or territory considered as an organized political community under one


government.

Sentence: The Philippines are a nation that is made up of a large number of islands
located off the mainland of Asia.

(F) Government:

A government is the authority that sets rules for a society. The government definition
is very broad because of the very unique ways that countries exist and function.

Sentence: A government structure impacts almost every aspect of a person's life

(G) Comparative Government:

The study and analysis of the general structure of governments throughout the
world. The systematic study of the government of more than one country.

Sentence: Comparative Government is one of the Major Subjects that a Social


Studies student should take in college.

(F) De Facto Government:

A political regime existing where one group has usurped all powers and aspects of
State sovereignty from another group which is legally entitled to be vested with such
powers.

Sentence: A De Facto Government is someone who exerts authority over a country


but whose legitimacy is broadly rejected.

(G) De jure government:

A de jure government is the legal, legitimate government of a state and is so


recognized by other states.

Sentence: De Jure Government practice what is right and what is according to the
law.
(F) Political Party:

Political party, a group of persons organized to acquire and exercise political power.

Sentence: Political Party named Gabriella seeks to fight fair treatment to every
woman in the country.
