a) Definition
Possessive pronouns in English, and also possessive adjectives, are used to indicate things that
belong to us, that are yours, mine or everyone's. That is, to indicate that something belongs to
a certain person. There is only one rule with them: They must be used after an antecedent
noun (name, object, etc.).
Possessive pronouns are words that replace the noun and indicate ownership or possession of
something. They are: mine, mine, mine, mine, yours, yours, yours, yours, theirs, theirs, theirs,
theirs, ours, ours, ours, ours, yours, yours, yours, yours.
2- REFLEXIVE PRONOUNS:

In English, the reflexive pronouns accompanied by the preposition by are used to express that
the subject is performing the action on their own. Examples: I am living by myself.
The English reflexive pronouns are myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, yourselves
and themselves.
