(Protocol) Distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen,

As we come to the end of this one-day project launch workshop, I want to express
my gratitude to all of you for your active participation. I hope that you have found this
workshop informative and insightful.

Today, we have shared the project plan and timeline, confirmed the project sites,
showcased the advantages of Do-nou technology, tree planting and energy-saving
stoves, and had a fruitful discussion on how best project targets can be achieved. I
am confident that the knowledge and information shared during this workshop will go
a long way in ensuring the success of this project.

I want to thank CORE and the Embassy of Japan in Uganda for their tireless efforts
in bringing this project to fruition. Your dedication to the development of our country
is commendable, and we are grateful for your support.

To all the invited officials, I urge you to take the lessons learned during this workshop
back to your respective districts and departments. Let us work together to ensure
that the objectives of this project are achieved and that our communities benefit from
the improved road infrastructure and green works in Gulu and Kitgum districts.

us continue to work together towards a sustainable and prosperous future for our
country.
