I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, students are expected to:
a. Define print media and broadcast media;
b. Show appreciation on the importance of print and broadcast media by giving specific examples
and participating in the given activity;
c. Explain the similarities and differences of print and broadcast media.

B. Motivation: Watch and Match! The teacher will post a picture and words that describe each
picture. Students will match the words to the pictures.

1. ACTIVITY: Discuss the history of Print media. (history)

b. If we cut more trees just to reproduce papers, What do you think is/are the effect/s in our mother
nature? (Science)

D. ANALYSIS
Based on the previous activity, ask the students to define print and broadcast media.

o Print media- is a news organization such as newspapers and magazines that


produce news and stories that are meant to be read.
o Broadcast media- is a news organization that supplies people with news in a format
that can be heard or viewed.
Students will give examples of print and broadcast media.
Discuss the differences between print and broadcast media.
