THE QUEST
Deaf friends had difficulty using
KRL (Indonesian electric train),
especially obtaining information
while on the train.
They can’t hear the audio announcement, they
can’t communicate with the staff, and it’s hard

THE QUEST
Numerical skills, especially basic
calculations, are still low in 1-3
elementary school children.
This is because of the ineffective learning,
such as memorizing formulas, uneven quality
of teachers, and monotonous curriculum and
way of teaching, which reduced the THE OUTCOME
enthusiasm of learning.
An app that helps 1-3 graders in learning
basic calculations with interactive stories
and drilling methods.

MEMORABLE With a team of 2 designers and 3 coders, we


managed to created the minimum viable
MOMENT product of takukaba.

We reached to elementary students with


different backgrounds in Indonesia and first
time trying Usability Testing to 5 children.
It is my second try on education app, it’s fun
and very inspiring. Learning new method of
teaching is also very fun. In this project, we
managed to reach Testflight (Beta Testing).

calculations. She thinks it’s very

It is my first time to design a company
website for client. Combining and
organizing various company data into a
website is an interesting process. Using
Elementor, I also learned to maximize the
use of Global Colors and Fonts, Templates,
and also Widgets and other elements!

THE QUEST
Communication Means is needed to
reduce negative impact of trauma Due
to bullying at school for deaf teenagers,
41% of 15 year old students in Indonesia have
been bullied, and students with special needs
are 3x more vulnerable to bullying. 7 percent
of people with disabilities in Indonesia are THE OUTCOME
deaf, which increased the importance of the
need to deal with bullying trauma. An app that helps deaf teenager to deal
with bullying trauma by communicating
with psychologist, using annonym chats
MEMORABLE with sign language stickers.

MOMENT
Reached 2 deaf communities and 2
school institutions.
The most memorable thing during this project
is being able to meet and be friends with deaf
people. Meeting 5+ deaf people at the
showcase, I learned that they really
appreciate the effort in helping and
communicating with deaf community.
Meet Tika!

Tika is a deaf student at an special


high school in Malang. She comes
from a normal junior high school.

She moved to a special school


because he was bullied by her
normal friends. Since then she has
become quiet and gloomy. Shee
never told other people about this
experience, because he felt
ashamed of being bullied.

be able to communicate safely
to a reliable person, that able
and understand my feelings
with no judgement, so that I
could reduce the negative
impact from trauma that has
affected me.

We have gathered 41 students to do a
questionnaire done usability testing
to 10 deaf users, ranging from junior
high school and high school students,
and reached conclusions:
Users felt hurt seeing normal
people bullying special
needs student
Users prefer using simple
word and phrases, and less
compound word
Changing compound and
difficult words to single
words help users in
understanding texts better.

Using suitable fonts and user-


centric colours
Not only clear and understandable, using fonts and color sets
that makes user comfortable but also represents value and
purpose of the app will enhance overall user experience.

Novelty in design and possible


development in coding
Creating design, features, and interactions that are possible
to be realized by other stakeholders.

Market sizing for business and


marketing purposes
As an app, it is necessary to be able to build more users to
develop further. Setting a broader market sizing ofr next
advancement would be beneficial for business.
