Portrait

 Your inspiration-

My favourite topics are Portrait and landscape. So, I took

portrait for sem 1 and I am planning to take landscape for
sem 2. I generally do landscape more than portrait, but
this I changed it a bit because I wanted to give it a try.

 Reflect your cultural environment

This mainly reflects to the artworks created in the past by

famous artists like Vicent van Gogh and learnado da
Vinci.
Even in my childhood I used to go for art classes, but
now since there is a lot to study, I could not go there
anymore.
  Medium and technique

I mostly use paint to colour after I finish the pencil

work. And I have always learnt that a drawing must always be
done from top to bottom. And I also try with oil pastels and
colour pencils. It always fun to make 2d drawings. Some of
the common medium that are used for portraits are pencil,
charcoal, graphite, watercolour and ink. The main techniques
are contour drawing, Hatching and cross-hatching, and
blending.
