EXERCISE E

The denomination of some elements (styles, colors, effects, formats, etc.) may vary slightly between versions. In case of not having the same
denomination in your version, apply the most similar option.

Worksheet 1

1. Introduce in a blank sheet of your workbook the data that appears in the image bellow.

2. In those cells with numbers use a currency format with no decimal position.

3. Applied to the cell range B2:E6 a center alignment, horizontally and vertically.

4. Increase row height from row 2 to row 6 until 40.

5. Increase column width of column C to column E until 15.

6. Apply to the cell range B3:B6 bold and italic font style.

7. Hide columns F, G and rows 11, 12 in your worksheet.

8. Apply to your cell range a format as table. Use the one named as Table Style Medium 21 (the
table style could vary depending on the Microsoft Excel version).

9. Change the colour of your worksheet tab to green colour.

Worksheet 2

1. Introduce in a blank sheet of your workbook the data that appears in the image bellow.

2. Merge and center the cell range B2:D2 and apply here the cell style named as Accent2. Change
the font size to 20.

3. Hide column A and Row 16 of your worksheet.

4. Estimate visually height of rows and with of columns to achieve the aspect shown in the image
below.

5. Apply all the formatting features needed (font type and size, alignment, shadings, borders...) to
achieve the aspect shown in the image below.

6. Replace the text Month in this worksheet with the text Period. Use just one order.

1. Introduce in a blank sheet of your workbook the data that appears in the image bellow.

2. Apply to the cell range C6:E16 a currency format with 2 decimal places and euro symbol.

3. Merge the cell range B2:E2. Apply additionally the required alignment to achieve the format shown
in the image below.

4. In columns B, C, D and E apply a width of 25. For the rest of columns, you can approximately
estimate the width in each case.

5. In rows 6 to 16 apply height of 17. For the rest of the rows you can approximately estimate the
height in each case.

6. Apply all the formatting features needed (font type and size, alignment, shadings, borders...) to
achieve the aspect shown in the image below.

7. Name this worksheet as GDP. Change the tab color to blue color.

8. Use conditional formatting option for the cell range C6: E16 following the next formatting rule: If
the value of GDP is over 100000: Light Red Fill with Dark Red Text.
