path through the woods”.

On her way, Litte Red Riding Hood met a wolf. “Hello”, said
the wolf, “Whare are you going?” Little Red Riding Hood knew
she shouldn’t talk to the wolf, but he seemed friendly. “Hello,
I’m going to visit my grandmother who lives in the forest”
explained her. “And whare does your grandmother lives?” aks
the wolf.

“At the and of this path.”

A sly grin came over the wolf’s face.

He knew that if he ran up the hill, he’d get to grandmother’s

house before Little Red Riding Hood. I’ll gobble up the old lady
and the little girl, he thougt, smacking his lips. And I’ll gobble
up that tasty picnic, too!
“Look at all the flowers growing in the woods,” said the
crafty wolf. “Why don’t you pick some for your grandmother?
Pretty flowers will make her feel even better.”

“Good idea!” said Little Red Riding Hood.

The prettiest flowers were far from the path. But Little Red
Riding Hood thought that it would be all right to leave the path
just this once.

When she turned to pick some flowers, the wolf ran straight
to the grandmother’s house. He went inside, put on a night-
gown and got into her bed. A little later, Little Red Riding Hood
came to the house. She knocked the door, then went
inside.Little Red Riding Hood went over to grandmother’s bed.

“Oh, Granny! What big ears you have!” she said.

“All the better to hear you with,” answered the wolf.

“Oh, Granny! What big eyes you have!” Said Little Red Riding
Hood.

“All the better to see you with,” replied the wolf.

“Oh, Granny! What big theeth you have!” gasped Little Red
Riding Hood.

“All the better to eat you with!” replied the wolf.

“Help!” shouted Little Red Riding Hood, as she realized that there was
a wolf in her grandmother’s bed! She ran out of the house. A
woodchutter was nearby. He heard Little Red Riding Hood scream and
ran to the house. The woodcutter hit the wolf over the head. The wolf
ran away and Little Red Riding Hood Never saw him again.

The morals of the story is that we should never trust strangers. Even
