Rescue Training program scheduled to take place on April 21-27, 2024, at Medic Central
Training Camp in Prk. 1, Brgy Manupal, Matalam, Province of Cotabato.

Mountain search and rescue training is essential for individuals involved in rescuing
people who are lost, injured, or in distress in mountainous terrain. This specialized
training equips rescue teams with the skills and knowledge needed to navigate
challenging mountain environments safely and effectively.

Training typically covers a range of topics, including wilderness first aid, technical rope
rescue techniques, navigation in mountain terrain, Air Operations Marshalling, survival
skills, and team coordination. Participants learn how to assess risks, plan and execute
search and rescue missions, and work together to overcome obstacles and challenges
inherent in mountain environments.

Additionally, mountain search and rescue training often emphasizes the importance of
communication, decision-making under pressure, physical fitness, and understanding
weather patterns and other environmental factors that can impact rescue operations.
Hands-on practical exercises and simulations are typically a key component of the
training, allowing participants to apply their skills in realistic scenarios.

Overall, mountain search and rescue training plays a crucial role in ensuring that rescue
teams are well-prepared to respond to emergencies in mountainous areas and
effectively assist those in need while prioritizing the safety of both rescuers and victims.

Location: Medic Central Training Camp, Prk. 1, Brgy Manupal, Matalam,

Province of Cotabato

Training Fee: Pre- Registration: 12,000 Php / Paxs

Onsite: 15,000 Php / Paxs

Inclusion: Training Fee, Dry Fit, Accommodation and Meals

No.of participants per team : 7 man – team (per LGU or Agency)
