1. Define: HMC, VMC, UMC

Ans. HMC (Horizontal Machining Centre): In which machine spindle axis is fixed in the
horizontal direction those machines are called as Horizontal Machining Centre.
VMC (Vertical Machining Centre): In which machine spindle axis is fixed in the
vertical direction those machines are called as vertical machining centre.
UMC (Universal Machining Centre): In which machine spindle axis is fix in
horizontal otherwise vertical otherwise as per operation we can change the axis of machines
called as Universal Machining Centre.
2. Give the full name of GKS, IGES, PHIGS and DXF / Give the names of Graphics
