Latex Gloves: Rubber gloves are widely used in medical, laboratory, and industrial settings for
protection against chemicals, fluids, and contaminants
Rubber is primarily derived from the latex sap of the rubber tree, scientifically known as Hevea
brasiliensis. This tree is native to the Amazon rainforest but is also cultivated in tropical regions
around the world, particularly in Southeast Asia. Latex is collected by tapping the tree's bark,
allowing the milky sap to flow into collection vessels. The latex is then processed to remove
impurities and water, resulting in raw rubber that can be further processed into various
