1. WHAT IS CULTURE? HOW IMPORTANT IS CULTURE IN THE HOSPITALITY AND TOURISM INDUSTRY?

Culture is a ways of living, culture is important in the hospitality and tourism industry, specially in accepting or
communicating with guest, and we should apply the Pilipino culture because Pilipino are very hospitable.

2. WHY IS CULTURE IS IMPORTANT TO AN ORGANIZATION’S DIVERSITY IN THE TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY


INDUSTRY?

Culture is important to an organizations diversity In the tourism and hospitality industry so that we should
understand the differences of guests, also to improve the services for any of the guest.

3. HOW CAN COMMUNICATION HELP IN BRINGING DIVERSITY AT WORK IN TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY.

Communication can help bringing diversity at work because to know every of each what are their own
different perspective to solve problems, and to understand each other so that they can rely to one other to get
thigs done.

4. WHAT IS THE IMPORTACE OF TEAMS IN OUR INDUSTRY?

The importance of teams in our industry are to have a quality service, to get job things done efficiently, also to
be flexible and adaptability towards at works.

5. WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT FEATURES OS CULTURE? DISSCUS.

The different features of culture are:

Dynamic- it is a culture that changed or it can be remove, time goes by people way of life is being changed.

Lean – culture is needed to learn before we acquire it, example when we are kids our parent teach us how to
respect because that their culture.

Non-uniform – Not all culture is for us because we have our own belief so that we cannot share all of our
culture to other people.

Pattern – cultural pattern is the similar behaviors witness due to shared beliefs.

Social – social culture is the common behavior to your community or society.

Transferable – cultures can be shared example our parents practice us being a hospitable person and practice
us to have a respect.

6. HOW DOES CULTURE IMPACT THE HOSPITALITY AND TOURISM WORKPLACE?

Culture impact the hospitality and tourism workplace by shaping employees behavior and customer
interaction.
