    The Indonesian national team succeeded in reaping positive results in two FIFA Matchday matches
    against Curacao which took place at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium on Saturday (24/9/2022)
    and the Pakansari Stadium in Bogor on Tuesday (25/9/2022).

    The Garuda squad won twice in a row over a team currently ranked 84th in FIFA. The Red and White
    Troops won 32 in the first meeting thanks to goals from Marc Klok ('18), Fachruddin Aryanto ('22), and
    Dimas Drajad.The duel between Indonesia vs Curacao was even tougher in the second time.

    La Familia Azul had forced the Garuda Squad to draw 1-1 until it was near the end of the match. Dendy
    Sulistyawan was only able to ensure the victory of the Indonesian stronghold through his actions in the
    87th minute.

    PSSI General Chair Mochamad Iriawan praised the performance of the Indonesian national team under
    Shin Tae-yong's tutelage in this FIFA Matchday. The figure who is familiarly called Iwan Bule even openly
    admitted that he was ready to offer a new four-year contract to a South Korean tactician.

    "According to my analysis and discussions with related parties, (there have been) some great and
    extraordinary progress (that happened to) the national team," said Mochamad Iriawan in a press
    conference after the Indonesia vs Curacao match on Tuesday (27/9/2022) night WIB.

    "So that (when in) 2023 (Shin Tae-yong's contract) runs out, we will at least (will extend the contract)
    four years as it is now. God willing, later, after focusing on the U-20 (World Cup) next year," he
    continued.
