Respiratory Protection

A Filter cover: holds the user-replaceable spark arrestor (not shown below).
B Prefilter: designed to increase the service life of the particle filter.
C HE particle filter: high efficiency particulate filtration.
D OV/AG cartridge: OV/AG cartridge captures certain organic vapors and
acid gases. OV/AG cartridges are sold separately.
E NiMH battery: fully charges in approximately four hours. Expected
operating time is up to 8-10 hours with new particle filter and new,
fully-charged battery.
F Brushless motor: with an average life three times longer than
conventional motors.
G Filter/Battery Indicator: indicates the loading status of
the particle filter and remaining battery life.
H Breathing tube: breathing tubes available to fit all
Speedglas welding helmet models.
I Exclusive airflow pattern: evenly distributes
filtered air throughout the entire breathing zone of the
helmet. The intelligent PAPR unit is designed to keep the
airflow at a constant preset level.
J Soft, flexible face seal (removed here for clarity):
comfortable face seal can be worn with limited facial hair and
provides respiratory protection.
