ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS

 Students are strongly encouraged to take detailed


notes during lectures.

 In order to gain admission to the examination a


student must obtain a class attendance of 75%.

During Exams & CATs, Research Assignment,
fraudulently signs a class list on behalf of another
student…etc.
Disciplinary steps will be instituted against the
individuals concerned.
Late submission of CATs.

Course Descriptions
• The law between Neighbours (The Rule in Rylands v
Fletcher (1866), Nuisance & Liability for animals);
• Liability for Defective Products; Occupiers’ Liability,
Professional Negligence and Liability for fatal accidents and
survival of causes of action.
• Deceit and other wrongful conduct; Trespass (Land and
Chattels (movables – personal property)); Strict Liability
Offences; Emerging Issues on the Law of Tort in Kenya and
their effect of ownership and use of land.
