igeria is the largest agriculture business hub in
West Africa, its economic statistics reveal
annual economic growth rates that averaged
over 7% in recent decades, making Nigeria one of the
fastest growing economies in West Africa.
Agro inputs contributed 75% to the agricultural
development in Nigeria and other West Africa
countries. More than 25 million people is the
estimated commercial farmers while about 55 million
are in rural farming, both are managing assets of about
320 billion USD.

Importation and local fabrication of agro equipments to
aid farm-mechanization in the local farming industry in

Nigeria Market due to the huge demand for technical
know-how and agro equipment & machineries by
individual, cooperate farmers and government
departments and agencies.

 THE EXHIBITION

In May 2023 Abuja will host the next edition of Nigeria Agriculture Expo, NIA Expo, one of
Nigeria’s leading exhibition for agriculture and animal husbandry industries. The exhibitions
have a long-standing reputation as a platform for establishing cooperation between foreign
producers and buyers from Nigeria. In 2019 the exhibition was visited by 5.208 registered
visitors from all agriculture regions of Nigeria and neighboring countries. The government,
thus, provides special assistance and privileges to the exhibitors related to the custom
clearance of products and technologies brought to the show.
