NNPHL Middle East Blended Learning Program

The National NGO Program on Humanitarian Leadership (NNPHL) is a highly regarded training program
that offers learning on humanitarian leadership, management practices, and topical issues critical to
advancing the collective effectiveness of humanitarian action to better serve those impacted by crisis.
Funded by the US Agency for International Development Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance (BHA),
NNPHL is implemented through a consortium—Concern Worldwide, the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative
and International Medical Corps—that brings together a unique combination of operational, academic,
and technical expertise with a deep understanding of the humanitarian coordination system and
steadfast commitment to investing in humanitarian leadership.

PROGRAM COMMITMENT: The 3-month course will run from 6 November 2023-19 January 2024, and
will require approximately 2-hours of self-paced online work per week. All participants will be required
to attend a 2-day remote (hosted on Zoom) intensive workshop that will take place in mid-December
(final dates and timing TBD). After the workshop, participants will have 3 weeks to complete a Final
Knowledge Sharing Assignment.

PROGRAM COST: With the generous support of USAID’s Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance (BHA), this
training is provided free of charge to all selected participants.

PROGRAM CERTIFICATION: Upon completion of the Blended Learning Leadership Program, participants
will receive a certificate issued by the consortium partners: Concern Worldwide, the Harvard
Humanitarian Initiative, and International Medical Corps.

In order to receive certification participants must:

 Actively participate in all online Canvas learning modules.

 Attend and participate in the 2-day remote (Zoom) intensive workshop.
 Complete the Final Knowledge Sharing Assignment.
 Complete all of the NNPHL course evaluations.

RESPONSIBILITY OF LEARNING: With hundreds of humanitarians applying for the NNPHL Leadership
Training program, the NNPHL team expects that all participants will demonstrate a responsibility of and
commitment to learning, as well as maintain respect for other participants’ professional development
and learning. Please note that the NNPHL team reserves the right to end one’s participation in the
program for unprofessional behavior ranging from disregard for Code of Conduct to lack of participation
(e.g., deadlines are consistently not met, reason for delays are not communicated, etc.). This does not
apply to extenuating circumstances.
Below are the terms of the program for your review and signature, confirming your commitment to the
National NGO Program on Humanitarian Leadership (NNPHL).

assignments posted on the NNPHL Canvas platform, my invitation to attend the 2-day remote
(Zoom) intensive workshop may be revoked due to lack of participation.

2. Attend and actively participate in the 2-day remote (Zoom) intensive workshop in December
2023.

3. Complete and submit a Final Knowledge Sharing Assignment by the conclusion of the program
